David Warner David Warner
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Warner was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Director on March 1, 2009, having served as the interim CEO from October 27, 2008. Mr Warner has had considerable community banking experience in California. He was an organizer, Director and President/CEO of Premier Business Bank in Los Angeles. Prior to this he was President/CEO of Pacific Union Bank, also in Los Angeles. He has also served as a Director of Redwood Empire Bancorp in Santa Rosa. Mr. Warner also has extensive international banking experience, having worked in Asia for a number of years.
Greg Spear Greg Spear
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Spear was appointed the Bank's chief financial officer on November 1, 2009. Mr. Spear spent the last eight years serving as CFO for two publicly traded financial institutions in the Pacific Northwest, both of which had assets in excess of $1.0 billion in assets. He is a 25-year banking veteran and a graduate of the University of La Verne where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting as well as holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Chico. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Oregon.

Tom Van der Ploeg Tom Van der Ploeg
Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer
Mr. Van der Ploeg has had an extensive career in community banking in California, starting out as a teller with Crocker National Bank in 1976, and serving in various positions in banking operations and lending throughout his 32 year career. Since December 2004, he has served in an executive capacity as a Chief Credit Officer, most recently serving as EVP/Chief Credit Officer of Service 1st Bank in Tracy CA, which had $250 million in assets when it entered into a definitive agreement in June 2008. Since that time, Mr. Van der Ploeg has had his own consulting firm, providing credit management services to Pacific Valley Bank during the fall of 2008. Mr. Van der Ploeg also serves as an instructor at Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle, WA during August of each year.

Evelyn Witt Evelyn Witt
Senior Vice President and Director of Retail Banking
Evelyn Witt has been in the banking industry for over 30 years, including the past seven years with banks in Central California. After 18 years with Tokai Bank California in Irwindale, CA where she became Vice President of Operations Administration, she was recruited by Monterey Bay Bank in Watsonville, CA as Vice President of Central Operations prior to its acquisition by Union Bank. She later moved to Community Bank in Salinas, where she was Vice President and Loan Service Group Manager and Loan Compliance Specialist. Prior to joining Pacific Valley Bank Ms. Witt consulted for American Principle Bank, a de novo bank in San Luis Obispo and assisted with its organizational processes while in organization.
